You must provide the correct registration number at the point of booking. Otherwise, the cameras won’t be able to recognize your booking.
With this car park’s on-site location, there is no need for a transfer bus service. The car park is within 3 minutes walking distance of the terminal doors, so you don’t need to waste time before you start your holiday.
Birmingham Airport Car Park 1 is now operating as a ticketless car park. You no longer need to push for a ticket; their automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
Please ensure you park in Car Park 1 to avoid any additional charges.

Proceed along the A45. Follow the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport, follow the signs for Car Park 1. Birmingham Airport Car Park 1 is located around the corner from the main terminal.
Once you are back at the car park, drive to the exit, where the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.
You may have overstayed or parked in the incorrect car park if the barrier does not rise. Any overstay will be charged at the standard tariff.
You can pay any additional charges at the exit lane by card. Please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment and have your registration number ready to quote.

30 Blue Badge permit parking spaces are available on a first-come-first-served, but you must bring your permit. You must bring your full confirmation details, including the email, to use these spaces. These spaces will be easily located in this car park; you need to follow the signs for Blue Badge holders. These spaces are also near the exit, ideal for those with mobility issues.
If you require the use of your Blue Badge permit on holiday, this is not an issue. You will, however, need to speak to the customer desk. They will then issue you a permit to display inside your vehicle instead of your Blue Badge.
